The business and money side of behavioral health
Behavioral health is the fastest-moving part of American healthcare and the least covered where it counts: the money. Claims volume is climbing, payers are tightening authorization, capital is moving, and the operators living with all of it have almost nowhere to read about it in operational terms.
That is what we cover. Deals and funding, payer policy, prior authorization, denials, reimbursement rates, parity enforcement, and the companies buying and selling in this market.
What makes us different
We build datasets nobody else has bothered to assemble, out of documents that are technically public and practically invisible — SEC filings, the payer prior authorization disclosures that became mandatory in 2026, published in-network rate files, nonprofit tax returns.
We publish the underlying methodology every time, and the databases are free to use.
