Ownership

BH RevCycle is published by Supa, a company that sells revenue cycle, documentation and intake software to behavioral health practices.

We are telling you this on our own terms, in plain language, because a publication that covers this market while being owned by a company operating in it should say so plainly.

What that means in practice

  • Supa does not review stories before publication.
  • Supa's competitors are covered on the same terms as any other company, and evaluated against the same criteria.
  • Supa's own products receive no favourable treatment in our coverage, our comparisons or our databases. Where we write about them, we disclose the relationship in the piece.
  • Editorial content is never gated behind a Supa form, and we do not hand reader data to Supa's sales team.
  • Sponsored content, if we ever run it, is labelled unmistakably as such.

Why we publish it anyway

The data we assemble — payer prior authorization outcomes, negotiated behavioral health rates, capital flows — is expensive to build and largely invisible to the operators it affects. Supa funds that work. The alternative is that nobody does it.

You should read us with the relationship in mind. That is the point of stating it.
